Membership
Looking to join one of Tasmania's Premier Golf Clubs? All of our membership categories are currently open, with no joining fee or waiting list! Our Membership year runs from 1st July through to 30th June each year.
Tasmania Golf Club has a variety of membership options available which we hope will cater for all needs. The most popular is our Full Membership, open to men and women and allowing unlimited golf seven days a week subject to course availability and full use of the Club’s excellent clubhouse and practice facilities.
In a survey of members, more than 80% of all respondents stated that the design of the golf course was amongst their top three reasons for joining Tasmania Golf Club in preference to any of the other 65 golf clubs in the State.
The combination of a great course design, extensive practice facilities, regular competition and the availability of quality coaching and skill development programs makes Tasmania Golf Club highly attractive to juniors, beginners and to promising golfers of all ages.
Full Member
A financial Full Member is entitled to the following:

Affiliation with Golf Australia, TGA, which includes an official playing handicap.

Entitled to playing rights at all times that the course is available to members.

Can compete in competition upon payment of the competition fee of the day.

Reciprocal playing rights with associated clubs throughout Australia and overseas.
Five Day, Weekday Member
A financial Five Day, Weekday Member is entitled to all the benefits of a full member with the following exceptions:

When playing in a time allocated to competition fields, current competition fees apply.

When playing in a time not allocated to a competition no fee is required.

Not eligible to play on Weekends unless an additional green fee is paid.

Only receives reciprocal rights with associated clubs on weekdays.
Introductory Member
This Category is only for NEW Tasmania Golf Club Members
A financial Introductory Member is entitled to:

10 rounds of 18 holes or 20 rounds of 9 holes, to be nominated when playing your first round

A Golf Australia official handicap.

Participation in competition and social golf, but not in club championships or pennant.

When playing in a time allocated to competition fields, current competition fees apply.

Cadet Member
12 and under
A financial Cadet Member is entitled to the following:

Colt Member
18 -25 years
A financial Colt Member is entitled to the following:

Affiliation with Golf Australia and Golf Tasmania, which includes an official playing handicap.

Entitled to playing rights at all times that the course is available to members.

Can compete in competition upon payment of the competition fee of the day.

Reciprocal playing rights with associated clubs throughout Australia and overseas.

Voting rights.
Social Member
$170
A financial Social Member is entitled to the following:

Full access to all practice facilities

Limited playing rights.

5 social rounds of 18 holes in a subscription year for the discount guest rate.

Full rights to bar and dining facilities.
General Member
A financial General Member is entitled to all the benefits of a full member with the following exceptions:

When playing in a time allocated to competition fields, the general member will pay a competition fee of $28 or $38 on Saturday.

When playing in a time not allocated to a competition no fee is required.
-
Sunday play is allowed at any time during the competition as an exception.

Does not receive reciprocal rights with associated clubs.
Five Day, Sunday Member
A financial Five Day, Sunday Member is entitled to all the benefits of a full member with the following exceptions:

When playing in a time allocated to competition fields, current competition fees apply

When playing in a time not allocated to a competition no fee is required.

Not eligible to play on Wednesdays or Saturdays unless an additional green fee is paid.

Does not receive reciprocal rights with other golf clubs on Wednesdays or Saturdays
Define 10 Member
A financial Define 10 Member is entitled to:

Junior Member
13 - 17 years

Full-time Student Member
Must provide a current Student Card endorsing them as full-time student.
